Excellently located guesthouse with free parking. Close to town, beach, bus and rail. A friendly,family run establishment with emphasis on cleanliness and service. Fully ensuite, stylish, modern rooms with hospitality tray/flatscreen lcd tv/hairdryer. Kingsize,double,twin,single and a 2 bedroomed ensuite , stunning view, sleeps 3 max, will not take another bed ). One room in the family suite has a double bed and the other a single bed. The bathroom is accessed through the single room. Most rooms with seaviews. The booking is room. Breakfast is not available. No breakfast is served but a small continental pack available on request. FOC. 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Porthminster beach. 5 minutes walk to the town, bus and rail. 10 minutes walk to the Tate Gallery, coastal path and other St.Ives beaches. Access to rooms at all times.

Carlill is a lovely place to stay. Warm and friendly hosts, comfortable rooms with attention to detail and immaculately clean. Breakfast was also of a high standard with plenty of choice. The location is perfect for exploring St Ives on foot.

Very enjoyable stay, lovely breakfast. Lynne was a lovely friendly lady. Room quite small but spotlessly clean. Found the steep walk uphill very tough!

Myself and three sons all enjoyed staying at Carlill.location was great,a couple of minutes walk into centre of st Ives.Lovely b&b ,would like to stay here next time.thank you for looking after us.Tony Chisnall

Tips:

Brilliant location ,so close to centre where lots of restaurants bars cinema are located. Some nice shops around.

This is a lovely place to stay in St Ives. Lynne was welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. My room was comfortable and the breakfast was perfect to set me up for a day out in and around St Ives. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely breakfast, which didn't overface a guest. My only suggestion for improvement concerns arrangements for future single guests like myself. My place (on table 2) at breakfast time was set facing away from the room towards a glass door, which was rather isolating; I would have preferred to face other diners in the room.

Tips:

Lots of unique small craft stalls/shops with interesting things to look at and maybe buy.
