We spent a great weekend staying at The lighthouse. A very comfortable and well equipped, beautifully decorated apartment. Anne was very helpful from the time of booking to the end of our stay. St Ives is a lovely place to explore and the surrounding areas are well worth a visit.

We stayed in The Little Lighhouse for a week and had a lovely time. It had everything we needed for our stay and Anne was very helpful and friendly throughout the whole process.

It’s located about a mile outside of the centre. We welcomed the walk down every day but taxied back as the hill is very steep!!

We would highly recommend The Lighthouse. The decor was beautiful and clean and little hospitality gifts were so thoughtful.

Easily accessible down to St Ives. Great to leave the car and walk. Bit of a steep hill back but we walked up most nights to kick start our fitness after lovely lazy beach days . Taxi and regular bus back if needed.

Absolutely fantastic! Beautifully decorated to high standard and well equipped. Really comfy sofa bed too. It’s a bit out of town but that means it’s nice and quiet. This was my favourite place to stay on our whole trip. Lovely host with brilliant communication, would highly recommend!

We found the whole process, from booking,contact for queries and the holiday experience itself faultless.Accomodation was amazing, well equipped and excellent attention to detail.

The location was perfect for exploring all areas of West Penrith, St Ives itself is about a mile away though accessing by car may prove difficult for parking during high season.Restaurants and superb beaches and shops are plentiful. On foot St Ives is an easy and great place to explore.

Fabulous location, away from the crowds, yet near enough to enjoy a nice walk into all the best spots in St Ives! All the facilities you could want or need for a break away from home. Loved the decor!

Well, we go for seafood, being close to the sea, so The Mermaid restaurant or Seafood Cafe provide a good quality menu.

Excellent host and apartment Nice, clean and comfortable St Ives is a good location to explore Cornwall and a nice little town with good bars, restaurants and beaches. Steep walk from town to the apartment but not very far.

No 27 The Terrace restaurant offers fine dining. Minack theatre is close and worth a visit/show. Lands End is very picturesque and easily accessed by car.

Just wow! The Lighthouse is perfect. From the second you walk up the stairs you feel at home. You have everything you need and more to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. There was a hamper, bottle of fizz and fresh flowers upon arrival which was a lovely and very thoughtful touch. We cooked dinner in the apartment most nights and ate out on the balcony which has a beautiful view of the sea and the lighthouse in the distance. We had our morning coffee out there too where we planned our days. The bed is super comfy and the apartment is just spotless. We will 100% be back.

If you are looking for a beach day, head to Carbis Bay, which is a short 10/15 minute drive from the apartment. We managed to find free parking down one of the side roads and walked down the Chine to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful! White sand and gorgeous turquoise sea. There is a shop selling good quality food and drinks and the beach has clean public toilets. Thretho Lounge in St Ives does an amazing breakfast and cocktails, perfect for an evening drink. We are both vegan and had no trouble find countless vegan options in St Ives. Thretho Lounge for the best vegan breakfast you'll ever eat, and also vegan burgers and deserts, The Cornish Bakery do 2 amazing vegan pasties, one traditional vegetable and one onion bargee and cauliflower which is out of this world! In fact, most of the pasty shops have vegan options. The Market Place tea room also offer a vegan cream tea! If you're going to eat in St Ives or any of the beaches around St Ives, beware of the Seagulls! They are not afraid of people and will swoop down and steal food from your hands! We lost 2 pasties to them! We saw countless people lose entire bags of chips and ice creams to them. They also know how to unzip bags! A skill I discovered when I was swimming in the sea only for the gulls to swoop down, unzip my bag and spread the contents of my bag across the beach! We had to wrap our bags in a towel and hide them under our deckchairs. Next time we will bring a lockable secure cool box! Although, I'm sure they will be able to pick the lock, ha! A trip to Lands End is a must, the views are just breathtaking. You can take a walk along the cliffs for some of the most amazing views I've ever seen in. It's £7.50 for a days parking. Which is worth it for the views and you can stay as long as you want. There are food and drink shops there so stay for lunch and make the most of it. If you're in to surfing stop by Sennor Beach, although get there early as the carparks get very busy. It was fun just sitting there and watching the surfer dudes for a couple of hours. Again, beware of the gulls! Cornwall really is beautiful.

Pure luxury! Spotlessly clean, bright and airy and very tastefully presented. Everything you might need was there. We had a lovely few days. Anne was in contact every couple of days to check if we needed anything. The flowers, Prosecco and hamper were a lovely welcoming touch. Definitely recommend and hopefully be back.

St Ives has numerous cafes and restaurants. Vegetarian option was in plentiful supply. Great walks and spotless beaches.

The Lighthouse is a home from home. The views was amazing even on the rainy day. The little touches milk, tea and coffee after our journey was very thoughtful. The welcome basket was our daughters favourite as she was able to made us creamed scones. Anne has thought of everything you need for a relaxing time and it was nice that she checked in with us to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything then to tell her know. We will be re-booking again

Lovely cafes along sea front but would advise to book if you want to go out evening meal. Firehouse and Beer and Bird were some of our favourites

What a fabulous accommodation with everything you need for a lovely stay in St Ives with parking. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean and the balcony was a lovely spot for that early evening drink. Lovely touches on our arrival. Its a 20 minute walk to the harbour centre, although there are bus and taxi options but on a summers day its fine. Anne was on call if needed and a very useful information book in the apartment, providing some great tips. Highly recommend for couples.

There are some great restaurants, but in the current climate you must pre book - thankfully we had. Porthminster Kitchen and Source Kitchen were fab. Minack theatre was amazing and the garden tour well worth the money - thanks Claire and the beach next to the Minack truly worth a visit. We also visited St Michaels mount while we were there. The coastal walks from St Ives are amazing and worth going even if you shortcut them, depending upon your ability. Godrevy to Hells Mouth and catching the seals on the way was a must. We hired ebikes from St Ives eBikes and they were great and really friendly service and Zenner coffee and cake a must and some really great routes from Ben.

This little lighthouse was in the perfect place just a little bit away from the town but close enough to walk We had a wow moment when we opened the door and the whole place was beautiful and private parking a massive plus and the fact that everything you needed was there for you and was left some lovely little extra, a hamper and milk and wine the scones and clotted cream were perfect after a long trip .I would 100% recommend this place to my family and friends and for our first holiday with our daughter we had the perfect place

If you stay here only take your perosnal items ,they have catered to all other needs even beach towels etc Becks fish and chips is a must the food was out of this world Use local transport as parking is impossible and cheaper on bus St ives bakery was delicious and if you have children carbis bay beach is perfect and not so busy and so beautiful

More then you can expect for a such a little price. Beautiful accommodation with enough room for two. As a self catering accommodation, we had all what we needed to make sure we are good to cook for ourselves. Every single bit what you wish there to be is actually there. Great location to stay if you want to explore more of Cornwall. Cozy little studio flat where we definitely will be back in the summer. Thank you a lot!!!
