I can not recommend Trevose Harbour House any more highly. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and wished we could stay longer. Beautiful bedroom, comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, the most amazing hosts and breakfast was incredible. It's also a 2-minute walk to the town center or to one of the beaches. Thank you Angela and Oli for looking after us so well. @Oli we're sorry we didn't get to thank you in person but we had to rush off for our St Michael's slot :-)

Minach Theatre was wonderful, followed by a walk along the coast to Logan Rock. Portminster Kitchen for dinner was great too as were pre dinner drinks in the Little Palais (these were all recommendations from Angela and Oli which we thoroughly enjoyed).

This was a return visit to Trevose, something we don't usually do as we have been disappointed with other venues in the past the second time around. Not so with Trevose, another wonderful stay in a comfortable and stylish retreat with friendly and helpful hosts. Delicious breakfast as always and located within St Ives hub for easy access to beaches, restaurants, galleries and shops. Trying to organise our third visit as we now have the surfing bug.

We've coincidently stayed in the same room on both visits, the warren 1, and its very comfortable and a good size. Angela and Oliver are full with the latest recommendations for restaurants and all have been great so far, so I would suggest following their advice. We did enjoy a newish wine and coffee bar called St Eia too. We did a surfing lesson (complete novice) at St Ives surfing school and loved it so much we booked in the following day too. Would recommend. Hepworth museum is a special spot (if you like sculpture and secluded gardens). Lots of lovely walks in the surrounding area. The trains to Penzance are easy to navigate if you want to be car free on a trip here.

Thank you for such a lovey couple of days! This is our second time staying with you and we have booked again for next year. Angela and Olivier are very kind and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name but the lady who came to do our room service was very kind and polite, and again nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was perfect and a lot to choose from. We didn’t book any restaurants as we didn’t want to have any set times. The PedNolva opposite the Trevose was lovely and a beautiful setting for evening drinks! It’s a very short walk to the beach and shops. Bring comfortable footwear as you will want to walk along the harbour!

An exceptionally beautiful guest house with an immaculate presentation. The beach house themed accommodation is ideally located for the train station and links to the beach harbour and town. Cleanliness and comfort exceed expectations here and the staff including Elouise who made us feel very welcome. Every effort is made to ensure a comfortable memorable “home from home” stay. Breakfast was “next level”! the menu includes some delicious healthy options prepared freshly and exquisitely presented. There is an atmosphere of Pride which flows throughout this accommodation and we would have no hesitation in coming back.

The owners are very helpful in offering advice on local restaurants and places of interest locally.

Angela and Oliver are great hosts - enthusiastic and knowledgeable, they have clearly invested themselves into the hotel. The decor and furnishings are perfect for a white/blue seaside theme, coupled with Swiss and Scandinavian and local styles (without overdoing it). The breakfast is one of the best I have had in some time - choice for everyone light or heavy, healthy or indulgent. We stayed in the suite on the third floor (No 6) - not cheap, but the views are worth every penny - I spent hours gazing out of the windows, taking in the breeze, watching the tide come in and out with a whisky from the honey bar (nice feature!). I was concerned it would be hot in the summer in the attic/top floor, but the east/west aspect means the sun is not on the windows all day and there is a lovely cool breeze in the room all day off the sea.

Angela wrote to us to suggest booking restaurants in advance (stay in August) - definitely do this if you don't want to queue all week/stay, the place is pleasantly packed with others. We went to No 27 The Terrace, One Fish Street and the Ugly Butterfly in Carbis Bay - all were great, but check the menus and prices before you go - they are towards the upper end and could catch you out if you are not prepared. We knew what we were getting ourselves into - so no problems, although we were hoping for an a la carte menu at the Ugly Butterfly - alas, another tasting menu - and after having two already at the other two restaurants - we were a bit fed up with it. No 27 the Terrace did have an a la carte option, but it was our first night and we took the tasting menu - it was great, but by tasting menu number three - we had had enough - on reflection, one tasting menu, one cheap and cheerful seafood (try the family seafood restaurant - perfect for that, we went for lunch on the final day) and one a la carte would have been much better! For activity, we rented e-bikes from St Ives e-bakes. You still need to do some peddling, but it was worth it if you want some exercise. We cycled to Cape Cornwall and back (35 miles round trip) - it was a good day out (plan for at least 4-5 hours, more if you want to stop along the way). It was baking hot and I got sun burned - more bad planning on my side, so go prepared and take a small backpack for water, sun tan cream, cool wet towel, room keys etc.

Trevose House is an wonderful place to stay, featuring rooms that are exceptionally clean, extremely comfortable beds and equipped thoughtfully. The hosts are very congenial, hospitable and fluent in several languages. The location in St Ives is perfect, close to the centre of town, but surprisingly quiet. And you will never get a better breakfast anywhere else!

We enjoy good food and there are many excellent restaurants in St Ives that the hosts, Oliver and Angela, recommended to us. They are all within easy walking distance of Trevose and offer a wide variety of food that would appeal to most travelers. The coastal path is sublime and you can easily access it by bus or car and walk any distance, depending on your preferences for easy or strenuous activity. The Hepworth sculpture garden is a must and the Tate gallery also features some interesting art.

I was made to feel very welcome. Loved all the personal touches. Room very comfortable, especially the bed. Bathroom was lovely. Breakfast delicious and again the attention to detail brilliant. It was a bit noisy late evening with people walking past, but everyone seemed happy and nothing can really be done about it. But it soon settled and didn’t bother me at all. I would definitely recommend you and hope to stay again. You have a lovely place.

Your booklet provides great advice. We went over to Caribs Bay to the Ugly Butterfly, it was a lovely meal as well as a great experience in a spectacular space, recommended. Yellow Canary has good coffee and friendly staff. Quiz at the Castle was good fun.

This has been on of my best hotel experinces, mostly because Olivier and Angela. Varm, helpful and so good at what they do. The attention to detail is just amazing. Beautiful rooms (stayed in two diffent ones). And the breakfast! Best ever. We will come back again and again.

Walks along the coast, the Barbara Hepworth museum, galleries and of course Leach Pottery. Our best restaurant experiences was at fantastic Source Kitchen and at Little Palais. And why not a take away from the rotisseri and burger eatery down the road. We sat and had out chocken at the beach. Perfect! The book shop!

We loved the style and vibe of the hotel. Our room was excellent and breakfast was really good. The owners are working very hard to ensure that everything is perfect and they were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The sunset from Porthmeor Beach Cafe was sublime and St Eia was great for a glass of wine. We also enjoyed the terrace at Pedn Olva which is very close to the hotel. The Barbara Hepworth museum and Tate are well worth a visit.

My wife and I arrived in St Ives after a long overnight journey from London. We booked Trevose after reading so many good reviews about it. We were greeted by a friendly welcome instantly as soon as we entered the building by Olivier. He had taken all the away all our tiredness from our trip by cooking us a delicious breakfast. We were then shown our rooms and it was exactly what we had hope for, if not more! Everything from the unique furnishing to the fantastic sea view. The 3-day stay we had was one of the best we’ve encountered for a while. We felt genuinely relaxed and well looked after by Olivier and Angela when we departed. I can’t thank them both enough for a great stay at Trevose and look forward to coming back. Thank you so much Olivier & Angela, you guys are the best!

This is a lovely place to stay in the very scenic and interesting town of St Ives. The facilities are comfortable and attractive. Owners Ollie and Angela are amazing hosts who take a friendly interest in their guests and by themselves add a lot to the nice experience of a holiday in Cornwall. Ollie provides a wonderful award winning multi choice breakfast.

Trevose House has an excellent location. It is within easy walking distance of beaches, beautiful vistas, museums and pretty much all the major restaurants. It also is a short walk to the train station and parking. They provide a limited number of parking spaces themselves but all of these were taken before we made reservations. They provide a recommended list of restaurants and recommend that reservations be made early. We had a couple nights without reservation had no difficulty finding a table somewhere. All of our meals were good in town.

Kudos to Angela and Olivier for making our holiday stay at Trevose Harbour House a truly amazing and wonderful experience. Run, don't walk, to this little piece of heaven in St. Ives where you will be pampered and treated like royalty from the first day to, sadly, your last. We stayed in the huge top floor suite with lovely views of the harbour and all the amenities one could hope for. And let us not forget about the breakfast menu, especially the yogurt parfait, the multi-grain toast, and the fabulous English Cheddar, my personal favorite. Eggs, croissant, porridge, you name it. So, 5 stars to Angela and Olivier, no make that 6 stars.

Trevose Harbour House is conveniently located just a few steps from the harbour, the central shopping area and every kind of restaurant you would want. Couldn't be easier. Also, we did not have a car or even need one, since we had booked A1 taxi in St. Ives prior to arriving to take us where we wanted to go. Just perfect for us two senior citizens.

Angela and Olivier were welcoming and attentive. The standard of service, attention to detail, care and consideration for the look and feel of the hotel was exceptional. The breakfast was excellent. Also personalised sweet treats and chilled water available throughout the day were lovely touches.

Parking is incredibly easy, luggage drop and the checking in procedure is efficient, friendly and relaxed. A must to stay for 3 days as a minimum to enjoy everything in the area, the restaurants and gallery. The restaurant One Fish Street with their friendly service and excellent tasting menu was one of our highlights of the stay - booking in advance is essential to ensure you do not miss out.

We had a four night stay at this superb hotel. Our first visit and it was perfect. We had a garden room on the shared terrace looking over to St Ives harbour. Our room was beautiful, lovely furnishings, toiletries, pottery, art work and a fantastic shower. We felt so comfortable and Angela and Olivier where the perfect welcoming hosts. A fantastic tasting menu from a lovely team at 27 The Terrace and then good meals at Porthgwidden and Porthmeor beach restaurants and the Porthminster kitchen above the harbour. Would recommend a wander at Porthleven and a walk from Porthcurno to Porthgwarra. Try a walk from town to St Agnes beacon and then to the coast and along the cliffs. We loved the Helford river and a walk to St Anthony head close by. Wild flowers in the woods were stunning. Don’t forget to take the train to St Erth and walk back to St Ives via Porth Kidney beach at low tide. Stunning.

St Ives itself is hard to beat as a holiday destination but I have to say our enjoyment was greatly enhanced by our stay at Trevose Harbour House. The location was great allowing stunning views of the harbour and the ever changing sea. The room itself was a pleasant surprise and felt very welcoming with lots of little touches adding to the overall feeling of comfort and luxury. We had a wonderful time at Trevose Harbour House. Our room was beautiful and equipped with everything to ensure a very comfortable stay. Angela and Oliver were superb hosts and went out of their way to give us advice and assistance about the local area, restaurants etc. The breakfasts were epic! The location was perfect for us - overlooking the harbour and a short stroll to everything - but could be challenging for anyone who has difficulties using stairs and walking up slopes. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely return.

Make sure you book restaurants well in advance of your stay as St. Ives was very busy, even in October. For anyone with special dietary needs, the Porthminster Kitchen was particularly accommodating and the food quality was excellent.

Trevose was top rated and we had to wait until October to get a weekend booking. It was worth the wait and we were rewarded with gorgeous weather and possibly a few less people. Missing St. Ives and Trevose already.

The walks to Lelant Salting and to Gwithian beach were fantastic. We used the local bus and train to great advantage to walk as far as we could and bus or train back. Had a lot of amazing food - the beetroot bhaji at the Seafood Cafe was a brilliant.

Fabulous location and lovely accommodation - you are obviously very proud of it and this comes across in the way you are with your guests - very welcoming, enthusiastic and friendly with nothing being too much trouble.

Our stay was geared at relaxing due to my husband having been very busy at work, therefore we didn’t do very much at all other than walk, sit on the beach and browse the local shops. However we did eat some lovely food and would particularly recommend One Fish Street and Porthmeor Beach Cafe.

We had a wonderful stay at Trevose Harbour House. The location is great - central but quiet. Despite coming during high season, we were able to park at the Station carpark just next door without a problem. The property is tastefully renovated and very well maintainted. The room was beautiful and very spacious - we've stayed in many luxury hotels over the years, and we thought that this was one of the best room we had ever stayed at. Breakfast is great, and Angela+Olivier are wonderful hosts ready to give recommendations and help out in any way they can. If you are lucky to get a room (it is a small place!), don't think too much and just book it!

We rented the entire house on Airbnb and it didn't disappoint in any way. The house, location and rooms were absolutely fantastic. We had a great holiday. The views from Room 6 are incredible. You are asking for comments so... As the house is normally run as a BnB, the rooms are great but public space is quite small, so when sitting around in the evening it's not very comfortable. Could do with a couple of bean bags. Also the front terrace could do with a few more chairs. Kitchen is VERY hot, needs some kind of fan.

We have been to Padstow many times, and always thought this was the nicest town in Cornwall. However, St. Ives has overtaken Padstow for us. The mix of great beaches, lively town and culture (Tate etc.) really impressed. The many restaurants in town are great, but book early. On our last night we booked a table at the Harbour Hotel - what a great night, dressed-up for photos on the terrace and excellent food with a stunning panoramic sea view restaurant.

The property is beautifully presented and extremely well maintained. The welcome, on arrival, was great and very friendly. Overall: (i) a truly wonderful property; (ii) in a great location and; (iii) run and maintained by people who both place a high value on, and clearly care about, their guests having a wonderful holiday in their fabulous property. Couldn't fault anything ....... so a big thank you from all ten of us. We felt very welcome, in a very special place. A credit to you all. Great choice of places to eat. We ate at many restaurants in St Ives .... and not a bad meal amongst them. The best two meals were at the Source Kitchen (a cracking little restaurant with great service and a very smart menu) and at the Porthminster Cafe (great food in a great location). For those that wanted to surf ..... Porthmeor Beach was a wonderful spot and a great experience (would recommend the surf school too). Porthminster Beach is a lovely spot for a relaxing day. Sadly both our boat trips were cancelled due to adverse weather. Olive's cafe .... lovely cream tea!

EXCEPTIONAL If only every B&B were like this! Angela and Olivier are very friendly and extremely accomodating hosts. Everything about our stay was what we had hoped for. The room (with great views over the harbour) and its en-suite bathroom were both spacious and impeccably clean. Indulge in a hearty breakfast before setting off for a long coastal trek or alternatively a five minute walk to either the town or the beach. A great location makes for a brilliant experience.

I could ramble on but in summary my comments are: Trovose Harbour House (THH) is beautifully designed and fitted out. Has the rreal feel of a seaside hotel but so stylish.Beds are really comfy. All of the staff and owners of THH are so nice and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast at THH is a delight. Location is superb. They mix a wonderful G&T. Can't think of a single criticism. Well, there's a first.

The whole team was so attentive, and the accommodation was fantastic. We stayed in room 3 and had a amazing view over the harbour. The breakfast was next level… from the cold COVID friendly Buffett to the amazing hot breakfasts.

The location of the property was perfect and a 5-10min walk from the beaches depending which one you choose. Restaurant options in St Ives are great but do book early under the current restrictions.

Trevose Harbour House exceeded my expectations and I loved my stay. Angela, Olivier and team were so attentive and helpful. The rooms are a sanctuary in calming blue and white hues, immaculately clean and beautifully designed with such attention to detail. The location is perfect within short walking distance of the harbour. Breakfast was a delicious treat every morning and the local restaurant recommendations were much appreciated.
